Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all operational processes at UrukTech. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain, inventory, logistics, and customer service. This role requires a strategic thinker who is also hands-on and can lead a team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, from procurement to storage, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
Logistics & Fulfillment: Direct the order fulfillment process, guaranteeing accurate and timely delivery of products to customers throughout Iraq. This includes managing our delivery partners and internal logistics team.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team, including staff in warehousing, fulfillment, and customer support. Set clear performance goals and KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Customer Service: Maintain and improve the quality of our customer service and technical support. Resolve complex customer issues and use feedback to enhance operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction without compromising service quality.
Financial Oversight: Manage the operations budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective practices are in place.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Control/System Engineering, any additional degree or qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics is a plus.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical/Embedded Systems, preferably with at least 1 year of experience in operations management, within the e-commerce, retail, or technology sectors.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency inventory management software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and logistics within Iraq is a significant plus.
- Fluency in English is required; any skills in Kurdish are a plus.
